As a veritable pioneer in urban retail planning services, Mall & Market has pursued a strategy of developing its consulting activities on the African continent, both in the Maghreb (Morocco and Algeria) and in Sub-Saharan and Central Africa (Ivory Coast, Congo Brazzaville).
In this context, in 2006, Mall & Market set up a subsidiary in Algeria, with the aim of assisting French and international mass retailers take root in the region. Project developers were therefore provided with personalized guidance and were able to leverage the extensive relations established by Mall & Market with local institutions, the administration and the public authorities.
For nearly 5 years now, Mall & Market has also been very active in Morocco. In particular, the company took part in conceiving and finalizing the “Plan Rawaj” on behalf of the Moroccan Ministry of Trade and Industry. Its participation in numerous projects and calls for bids in the main cities of the Kingdom (Casablanca, Rabat, Tangiers, Fes, Marrakech etc.) has enabled Mall & Market to build up an extensive network, with the result that the company has been called upon by numerous French promoters, investors and retailers wishing to establish a presence in Morocco.
In October 2013, Bertrand Boullé was received by the President of the Republic of Congo, Denis Sassou Nguesso, in the context of a project for the development of shopping malls in Brazzaville and Pointe Noire.
