After many implementations in the Parisian region and in the biggest French conurbations since 1983, the Swedish company IKEA and its subsidiary Ikea Centres France (formerly Inter Ikea Centre Group) are developing projects near mid-size and lower cities. They are seeking for one aim, “every French inhabitants must be located at 1 hour maximum from the closest Ikea store“. Following this statement, the Caen’s suburb (Fleury-sur-Orne, Normandy) has been chosen to welcome a new generation “Retail Park”, anchored around the existing Ikea store.
Lobbying and assisting in the definition of the development strategy
Conceiving and drawing up the administrative documents and paperwork for business license applications
Assistance and representation in obtaining planning permission from the local and national authorities responsible for commercial development planning (CDAC and CNAC).
